That is right people it is finaly here I hope you enjoy. I sure enjoyed the episode, but you have to read to find out what I gave it.

Hey, Captain Pash here again. Many of you might be wondering where the review of episode 1x04 is. Well I am here to tell you that has come. I have read the whole thing, and I have to say I love it. Esquin you did a great job writing this one. I loved it. There was a ton of action, and I love the Tok’ra character. This episode had many twist and turns which just made it feel like a regular episode of Stargate. You really didn’t see the end coming, but the end was great all the same.

I like how Jonas was portrayed. I feel it fits his character even though I don’t like him or the season he starred in. At least I like all the rest of them. I really like the opening scene where Takeshi and Tenyris have the little bets going. It give you the feeling that the team in bonding, and becoming friends. Takeshi seems to be that young mechanic that does what ever comes into his mind, and most of the time it works, but sometimes you get a rail gun exploding on you.

The action in this episode was well written, and made me like it. I didn’t have a problem with beats this time around, there were some but they weren’t over used. The camera angle stuff was also only used when needed, and that makes me happy again. Though most of that stuff may seem like nit picking it really does effect if someone wants to read the episode or if they just get really bored.

There was also a great scene where Hemmingway says, “Oh and the hyper drive… not that it will do much good.” That people is a great use of dramatic irony. That is where the audience knows something that the characters don’t. The show had the mix of jokes, and action that is usually seen in most of the episodes is seasons 2-5, which in my opinion where the best seasons of SG-1 to date. I will leave season 8, and 9 out of this discussion just because huge uproar I would get from one side for stating my opinions on those sides.

So, all in all this is a great episode. It has that seasons 2-5 feel, and really shows where this series can go. I will give this one 5/5 even though it was an action driven episode. I hope EAG’s episode is as good because I only just started to read it, but the mystery is intriguing. This is Captain Pash saying here is your review, and more to come soon.
